Image Resizer Online - Resize by Pixels or Percentage
Resize image dimensions
About Image Resizing
Adjust image dimensions by pixel value or percentage; tick "Lock ratio" to keep the aspect ratio unchanged. Resizing runs locally in your browser — images are never uploaded to a server. To crop a region instead, use the image cropper.
Image Resizing Use Cases
ID photos: scale a photo to the standard 1-inch (295x413) or 2-inch (413x579) size; Social avatars: platforms require different sizes, quickly resize to the target pixels; E-commerce listings: unify product image sizes for tidy page layout; Web thumbnails: generate uniformly sized thumbnails for list display.
FAQ
What is the difference between resizing and cropping?
Resizing changes the overall dimensions while keeping the entire image; cropping keeps only the selected region and discards the rest. To remove unwanted areas, use the image cropper.
What does locking the ratio do?
After locking the aspect ratio, changing the width automatically adjusts the height proportionally so the image is not distorted. Tick it when making ID photos, avatars and other images that need an exact ratio.
Will enlarging an image make it blurry?
Yes. This tool resizes with Canvas, so scaling beyond the original size introduces jagged edges and blur. For the sharpest result, only scale down or enlarge slightly (under 120%).
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and other common browser-renderable formats are supported. Processing runs locally in your browser; images are never uploaded to a server.
