FAQ
Which operations does the scientific calculator support?
It supports arithmetic (+ - * /), trigonometry (sin, cos, tan with RAD/DEG switching), logarithms (log base 10, ln for natural log), powers (^), square root (sqrt), factorial (!), absolute value (abs), modulo (mod), plus the constants π and e.
What is the difference between RAD and DEG modes?
RAD (radians) measures angles in radians, where 2π = 360°; DEG (degrees) measures them in degrees. RAD is the default — confirm the mode before computing trig functions. For example, sin(π/2) equals 1 in RAD mode, and sin(90) also equals 1 in DEG mode.
How do I use the history?
Every time you press "=" to calculate, the expression and result are saved to history (up to 20 entries). Clicking an entry fills its expression back into the input for quick editing and recalculating.
Which number bases are supported?
This scientific calculator defaults to decimal arithmetic. For binary, octal, or hexadecimal conversions, use the Radix Converter. For unit conversions, use the Unit Converter series.
