Server Port Check Online - TCP Port Connectivity Test

Single host / Single port / TCP connectivity

How to Use

This tool only checks a single port on a single public host, for authorized server operations troubleshooting; it does not provide port-range or batch scanning. For common port uses, see the Port Lookup tool; for network latency, use the Connectivity Test.

FAQ

Does the port check scan multiple ports?

No. This tool only checks a single port on a single host and does not provide port-range or batch scanning.

Why can’t I check private network addresses?

To prevent abuse, this tool forbids checking localhost, private ranges and reserved addresses; it is only for authorized connectivity checks of public servers.

Is an open port the same as a working service?

Not exactly. An open port means a TCP connection can be established, but whether the specific application protocol works normally requires further testing.

What are ports 80 and 443 for?

Port 80 is usually used for HTTP services and port 443 for HTTPS services.

What does a timeout in the result mean?

A timeout may mean the port is closed, blocked by a firewall, the network is unreachable, or the target service is responding too slowly.
