Tips for Each Platform
Popular Font Styles
Below are examples and use cases for several common fancy styles — click any example to copy.
Bubble text
Bubble text wraps English letters in circles for a cute look — great for WeChat nicknames, couple names and small headings; compatibility is excellent and it displays on most major social platforms.
Gothic (Fraktur)
Gothic is a German blackletter-style uppercase fancy font with a strong dark, gaming, rock vibe — suited to game IDs and personal signatures; old systems may show boxes, so preview first.
Vaporwave
Vaporwave is built from fullwidth characters plus fullwidth spaces for a retro, wide-spaced effect — a common English decorative font for Douyin and vaporwave-style nicknames and copy.
Double-struck
Double-struck gives each letter a double outline — tidy and design-forward, ideal for headings and signatures, and it keeps its style on most platforms after pasting.
Script (handwriting)
Script is a connected handwriting-style math alphabet — elegant and literary, great for signatures, weddings and confession copy, and a popular fancy-English style for Instagram bios.
Upside-down text
Upside-down text uses Unicode flipped letters to turn text top-to-bottom — a favorite for fun nicknames and comment-section pranks; just copy and use.
Mirrored text
Mirrored text reverses the string and swaps left-right symmetric letters to create a mirror effect — good for creative nicknames and poster decoration.
Glitch (Zalgo)
Glitch (Zalgo) stacks combining marks for a corroded, glitchy feel — a go-to for creepy/glitch nicknames; some platforms collapse the layers and show plain text.

FAQ
How does fancy-text conversion work?
It maps letters to characters from Unicode’s Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block and circled/fullwidth letter sets. Each English letter maps to a special Unicode variant that is not a font file yet displays correctly on most social platforms and chat apps, including WeChat, QQ, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Instagram and TikTok.
Which font styles are supported?
It offers math alphabets (bold, italic, bold-italic, double-struck, script, bold script, fraktur, bold fraktur, monospace, sans-serif and variants), decorative letters (bubble, squared, negative squared, fullwidth, small caps), fun combinations (superscript, subscript, upside-down, mirror, vaporwave, leet and more), symbol decorations (dozens of prefix/suffix and spacer frames) and combined styles. Type once and every style is previewed automatically; click a row or button to copy.
Can Chinese characters be converted to fancy text?
Fancy conversion only affects the English letters A–Z, a–z and digits. Chinese has no corresponding Unicode fancy variants and stays as-is. To decorate Chinese, use Special Symbols to add symbol accents.
Go to Special Symbols →My fancy WeChat nickname shows as boxes — what can I do?
Some older devices or specific apps (especially in-game IDs) have built-in fonts without these special Unicode characters, so they show as boxes (tofu). Math alphabets generally work on major social platforms; combining lines, vaporwave and symbol decorations are fairly compatible, but a few decorative symbols may misbehave on old systems — paste-test on the target platform first.
Can digits be converted too?
Bold, double-struck, monospace, sans-serif, bold sans-serif, bubble and fullwidth support digit variants. Italic, bold-italic, script, bold script and fraktur have no separate digit glyphs in Unicode, so digits stay as-is — a Unicode standard limitation, not a tool issue.
How do I make fancy text for Instagram / TikTok / WeChat nicknames?
Instagram bios/nicknames, TikTok and Discord have the best Unicode fancy support, where bold script and script are most used; WeChat and QQ nicknames also support most math alphabets and bubble/fullwidth styles; game IDs (e.g. Honor of Kings, Genshin) often show boxes, so test first.
How are upside-down and mirror text implemented?
Upside-down text uses existing Unicode flipped letters (such as ɐ, ∀, Ɔ) to approximate a top-to-bottom flip; letters without a flipped glyph stay as-is. Mirror text reverses the string and swaps left-right symmetric letters like b/d and p/q to face the other way.
How do I make the Douyin vaporwave font?
The vaporwave style converts English to fullwidth characters and inserts a fullwidth space between each character, producing a wide, retro aesthetic — commonly used for Douyin and vaporwave-style nicknames and copy.
Why does squared text only have uppercase?
Unicode’s Squared Latin block only defines uppercase A–Z; there are no lowercase squared glyphs, so the squared and negative squared styles convert only uppercase letters, leaving lowercase and digits as-is.
Why do some letters stay unchanged in Small Caps?
Unicode’s "small capital letters" cover only part of the alphabet (a/b/c…). Letters such as q and x have no separate small-cap code points, so they stay as-is — a Unicode standard limitation.
How do I use vertical text (vertical nicknames)?
Vertical text converts English letters to fullwidth characters and breaks after each one, so the result stacks vertically after copying — good for signatures, vertical nicknames or vertical poster titles. Only the layout direction changes; the characters are still Unicode fullwidth letters and display fine on platforms that support fullwidth.
How do I make Zalgo glitch text, and why does it look wrong on some platforms?
Glitch text stacks multiple Unicode combining marks (diacritics) on a single character to create a corroded, glitchy look — popular for creepy/glitch nicknames. Because of the many layers, some old systems or specific apps (especially in-game IDs) collapse or ignore the layers, showing plain text or boxes; this is a platform font limitation, not a tool error.
Will the converted text be lost?
No. Conversion is pure client-side character replacement, and the result is shown directly on the page — copy it anytime, or export it as txt with one click. The recent input history for the session is saved too, for easy comparison.
Will the formatting change after I paste it elsewhere?
Fancy text is plain text (Unicode characters), not an image, so it keeps its style in any input field that supports the characters — but how it displays depends on the target platform’s font support.
Can I use fancy text for game IDs like Honor of Kings / Genshin?
Most in-game fonts do not include special Unicode characters, so fancy text shows as boxes — paste-test first, or use a few symbols the game allows, or plain stylized text.
Can I use fancy text in Xiaohongshu note titles?
Xiaohongshu body text and titles support most math alphabets, bubble and fullwidth styles; combining-symbol styles may misbehave, so preview in the app before copying.
Can I use fancy text for Steam / Twitter nicknames?
Steam and Twitter (X) have good Unicode fancy support: bold script, script and bubble usually display correctly and are great for a personalized account.
Why do some show boxes on Android but fine on iPhone?
Different systems or apps ship different fonts; some decorative symbols are missing on certain Android versions and show boxes. Math alphabets and fullwidth have the best compatibility — prefer them.
